The movie 'SHAMITABH' is starred by Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush and Kamal Haasan's second daughter Akshara Haasan. This movie is being directed by R.Balki.

The first poster was unveiled by Big B on his social networking page with a caption, “Ladies and gentlemen!! The SHAMITABH poster ..." the title is given as DhanuSHAMITABHbachan. The duo Amitabh and Dhanush are appearing in Black outfits.

The makers are planning for a music launch now and Shamitabh will release on February 6, 2015.
Ilaiyaraaja is scoring music while P.C. Sreeram is camera man for this movie.

Actress Katrina Kaif may soon be seen in a woman-centric role. The beautiful actress has been reportedly approached by Sujoy Ghosh for his next film.

Media buzz indicates that the 'Kahaani' director has approached Katrina after being turned down by Kangana Ranaut and Vidya Balan.

Katrina is likely to play the role of a single mother in the film. Her character accidently kills her husband as per the script.

Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif could be up for a a major career upgrade as she has apparently been approached by director Sujoy Ghosh for a woman-centric role in his next film.

If Katrina agrees to do this women-centric film then it could lead to a major career upgrade for the Bollywood diva.

According to reports, Katrina liked the script and if everything falls in place then she might sign on the dotted line.

The upcoming film is based on a Japanese novel 'The Devotion Of Suspect X', authored by Keigo Higashino.

Katrina Kaif's upcoming film includes film 'Bang Bang' co-staring Hrithik Roshan. The film will release on October 2. She is also working on film 'Jagga Jasoos' co-staring Ranbir Kapoor.

For the first time ever, in the history of Yash Raj Films (YRF), a film has bagged an 'A' certificate. That's right!

It's much-awaited next, 'Mardaani' that stars Rani Mukerji in the lead and deals with child trafficking and prostitution, has been granted an adult certificate with a few cuts. Quite surprisingly, YRF had not contested against Censor Board decision.



A source reveals that board has asked the makers to drop a few nude scenes and abusive language before releasing.

“Muting has been done away with now, so the Censor Board has just asked the makers to delete the objectionable words."

Directed by Pradeep Sarkar, the film also stars Tahir Raj Bhasin. 'Mardaani' will hit the theaters on August 22.

Salman Khan's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' co-starring Kareena Kapoor is about a Muslim boy and a Brahmin girl. It makes us wonder whether the story of 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' is co-related to Kareena's personal life.

However, Kareena has clarified that 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' is not in any way co-related to her personal life. Kareena Kapoor, who is married to Saif Ali Khan, feels that the upcoming film is a beautiful human story.

'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' will be Salman's career best film, according to Kareena. The project is very special and will portray Salman in a very different light.

Kareena feels honoured to be part of the project as Salman is producing it. Bebo says she is lucky to have worked with all the Khans in their home productions. Kareena Kapoor was last seen in 'Gori Tere Pyaar Mein' which had lukewarm response at the box office.

Kabir Khan will direct Bajrangi Bhaijaan, while Salman Khan Ventures will produce the film.

The film will released on Eid next year.

Salman Khan seems to have become the highest paid actor in Bollywood. The 'Kick' star will be paid a whopping remuneration for Karan Johar's 'Shuddhi', according to reports.

Salman will be paid Rs.150 crore for 'Shuddhi'. The jaw dropping remuneration has left us amazed. Salman never fails to surprise – first there was news about him signing 'Shuddhi' after so many speculations about the lead actors and now his staggering remuneration.

According to reports, Salman said he wanted the first week's worldwide collection as part of his fee. Secondly, he was to be given 40 % of the satellite rights of Shuddhi. And out of the total profits from Shuddhi, Salman will get 20 %, while Dharma Productions will get the rest 80 %.

The total fee adds upto a whopping Rs.150 crores.

However, trade analyst Taran Adarsh was not convinced that Salman would be taking home the quoted amount. Adarsh says the fee is secretly worked up between the producer and the actor. He feels Rs. 150 crore sounds a bit too high.

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor may play a hockey star in an upcoming film. The actor is likely to play the role of hockey star Dhyan Chand in an upcoming biopic.

The project will be based on a script by Ila Bedi Dutta, of Agneepath fame. At present, Ila Bedi Dutta is in the process of finalising the script for the upcoming biopic.

Pooja Shetty will produce the film.

Earlier there were reports of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan being approached for the role.

Rajat Bedi, who is Ila's brother, said that Ila is winding up the script for the film. Shooting for the film will start soon, he said.

Negotiations are on to rope in Ranbir Kapoor to play the role of the legendary hockey star Dhyan Chand, added Rajat.

At present Ranbir Kapoor is working on films like ‎Tamasha , Bombay Velvet and Jagga Jasoos.
