Aishwarya Rai Bachchan In The Opening Ceremony Of Commonwealth Games
When hubby Abhishek Bachchan and dad-in-law Amitabh Bachchan are at it, how can 'bahu' Aishwarya Rai Bachchan be far behind. Indeed! After Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan, who recently attended the FIFA World Cup grand finale at Rio de Janeiro at Brazil, it's time for Aishwarya to follow suit.
We hear that the Bachchan bahu is headed for Glasgow to attend the Commonwealth Games that kick-starts today. Aishwarya will represent her luxury watch brand Longines in the opening ceremony and is expected to hobnob with the press and the media during the event.
Aishwarya is already in London and will fly to Scotland today to grace the opening ceremony.
Aishwarya, a former Miss World and a brand ambassador for leading international brands, was apparently asked by the CWG committee to attend the event. And the actress was gracious enough to squeeze time from her hectic schedule to attend it.
She will resume the shooting of her comeback flick 'Jazbaa' opposite John Abraham once she is over and done with her global events and endorsements.
