Priyanka Chopra's Mary Kom to debut at Toronto Film Festival

As the hard-hitting 2 minutes and 54 seconds teaser of 'Mary Kom' hits the web, the world seems to be going gaga over Priyanka Chopra's power-packed portrayal of the Manipuri women athlete. We can't help but take notice PeeCee's deglam, athletic avatar, where she totally stuns with her physique, roughness, and act and packs in the right punches.

Directed by Omung Kumar and co-produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion pictures, the biopic is slated to hit the theaters on September 5, 2014. But before that, the movie will world premiere in the esteemed Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) that kickstarts on September 4.

Confirming the news, TIFF organizers have revealed a statement which says, "Glamorous Indian star Priyanka Chopra completely transforms herself to play Mary Kom, world champion in women's boxing. From traditional village life in remote Manipur state to high-stakes bouts in India and around the world, this is a remarkable story of triumph. The film will have its world premiere at TIFF.''
